Academic Assessments
Academic Assessments are a great way to check your child’s progress, get valuable insight into their strengths and areas for development. I will assess current abilities in Maths, English, verbal and non-verbal reasoning. Assessments will be conducted with your target school in mind. Interview techniques can also be included. I will provide you with a comprehensive written report containing grades, strengths and areas for development as well as actionable next steps that will help your children reach their goals and help you make the right choices.
Academic Assessments are also beneficial for children who aren’t preparing to sit an exam. Perhaps your child is struggling and needs extra support, but you don’t know where to start. Assessments are carefully tailored to address your concerns and deliver the personalised support your family needs.
Our Process
Step 1
Upon enquiry an online or face to face consultation is scheduled to discuss your requirements, learning goals and schedule the assessments.
Step 2
Assessments will be administered in the convenience of your own home or at a mutually agreed location. Assessments will take 40-60 minutes per subject. Assessments have to be completed independently with minimal help.
Step 3
Once assessments are complete, they will be taken away for marking. A report will be compiled to include marks, strengths, areas for development, approximate reading and spelling age and recommended next steps.
Step 4
If required a follow up consultation can be booked to discuss the report and any next steps.
