Homeschooling Support
Choosing to homeschool your child is a big decision, a decision that requires commitment and flexibility. Whatever your reason for homeschooling, whether you want to provide a more individualised learning approach or your child is neurodiverse and their needs are not being met, anxiety and school refusal, bullying and other concerns with school you are not alone. Homeschooling is increasing in the UK.
You can choose to homeschool whenever and however you choose. You do not have to follow the National Curriculum. Learning can be project based and can be applied to everyday life such s cooking a meal. Children can learn at their own pace in the way that they like and develop confidence.

If you are not sure where you children are at in their learning, want to know more about their strengths, learning styles and what they need for a successful homeschooling journey then my assessments in English, Maths and their emotional wellbeing can help you meet their needs and plan for their learning ahead.

If you are not sure where to start, scared at the prospect of teaching maths or feel like you don’t have enough subject knowledge to teach your child, I can support you to plan a tuition program that suits you, your child and your family’s needs and requirements. I can provide a structured yet relaxed and enjoyable learning experience with as little or as many tuition sessions as you would like.

Whatever your child’s interests, needs or learning requirements I can support and guide you by providing weekly or monthly learning plans with recommended resources that you can do with your child. Plans can be project based, linked to the National Curriculum and take your child’s learning needs into account. Monthly Consultations either online or face to face will have to be scheduled as a means to monitor progress and plan for the next month.

Regular evaluations and reviews with regards to tuition, individual learning plans and assessments can be scheduled to get a feel of how things are going, if progress is being made or any changes need to be implemented and reviewing next steps. Evaluations and reviews can take place every 2-3 months.
